Moisture is stored in its fleshy tapering leaves, which is why it is a drought-tolerant plant.

Can reach up to 80cm tall in full maturity, although this is extremely unlikely when grown as a houseplant.

Curio ‘Mount Everest’ occasionally produces greeny/white subtle blooms; however, these are nothing compared to its incredible foliage.
Whilst the common name for this plant might be ‘Curio Mount Everest’, they are, in fact, not from that area at all. They are native to South Africa, growing on exposed cliffs and rocky slopes which are bathed in sunshine.
Previously known as ’Senecio Ficoides’ ‘Mount Everest’
Other common names include: Blue Chalk Sticks, Mount Everest, Curio Mount Everest, Skyscraper Senecio

Light: Loves a bright sunny spot, such as a windowsill.
Water: Shouldn’t sit in water, as roots will rot. It's best to water and then let it dry out completely before the next watering.
Humidity: Happy with average household humidity.
Temperature: Happy with a real range of temperatures, as it is a highly tolerant plant.
