Calathea Network are known for purifying toxins in the air

Unique, easy to care for and safe for your adventurous pets or young children, this plant ticks many boxes!
Calathea plants are native to the Brazilian rainforests and are usually found in the understory, with foliage overhead, meaning they are used to dappled sunlight.
They produce small white flowers in their natural habitat, which are pretty uneventful. The main interest is certainly their stunning patterned leaves.
They are part of the Marantaceae family of plants, also known as the Prayer Plant family.
Pet safe.
Other common names include: Network Plant, Goeppertia Kegeljanii ‘Network’, Maranta Bella (originally documented as this)

Light: Beginning life in the understory, under towering canopies, Calathea Network prefer bright but not direct light for perfect growing conditions. Please keep away from lots of direct sunlight, which will scorch its beautiful leaves. However, please put it in too dark a spot, and you risk the leaves darkening and therefore losing the contrasting pattern they are so famous for.
Water: Calathea Network prefers damp soil but definitely not soggy (therefore, please don’t leave their roots sitting in water!).
Humidity: Calathea Network loves humidity! Group plants together or mist fairly regularly in summer. It would also be very happy in a steamier room like a bathroom or a kitchen.
Temperature: The Network prefers warmer temperatures of between 15-28°C. Keep away from draughts or chilly spots.
