Care Tips

Light: Beginning life in the understory, Rubber plants grow quickest in bright (but not direct) sunlight. However, they can also tolerate shadier spots.

Water: Although native to humid rainforests, this plant does a little better with drier soils at home. Water when the top layer of soil is dry, ensuring thorough drainage so that the roots don't sit in damp soil.

Humidity: Happy without any extra humidity.

Temperature: The Ruby Rubber prefers temperatures between 15-25°C to thrive but will tolerate draughtier, chillier homes.
