
You can prune schefflera if they start to get a bit leggy or overgrown - just cut back into a shape you prefer. New growth will come, making it a fuller plant.

Can reach up to 1.5m tall as a houseplant, but as mentioned, prune if you want to keep more compact.

The Umbrella Plant can flower in the right conditions, but this is very rare when kept as a houseplant and they are usually appreciated for their beautiful foliage.
Native to Taiwan and can grow to huge heights of up to 9m in their natural habitat.

Light: Bright indirect light or partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight in the middle of the day when it’s very strong. Near an East or West facing window would be ideal.
Water: Allow compost to completely dry out and then soak through again. Don’t overwater, especially in winter.
Humidity: Likes a humid environment, so appreciates misting, a pebble tray or being grouped near other plants.
Temperature: Temperatures of between 15- 22°c would be optimum. Ideally keep the temp above 12°c +. Avoid draughty spots.
